What happens if i skip whole section on SAT??

Yea.. I know this is a dumb question..
My M is 800 but CR is really crap.. Its too bad that i cannot even say how bad it is.. The problem is that I never finish CR part in time, almost always have no time to even start last passage.

Since most colleges superscore SAT reasoning..
Is it okay to skip whole math section? so i can concentrate on CR?
Does college see this??

Read your SAT Registration Booklet. Skipping a whole section might be interpreted as a request to cancel your scores. Remember, the test is standardized on a group of students who are TRYING on all the sections of the test, so try to do your best on all sections of the test. Do each section in the time limit you have for each section.

Not a good idea. I once eavesdropped in on a bunch of math teachers discussing a kid who'd done just that. (He just wanted to improve his verbal scores.) They suspected fraud and had a big investigation. I don't know what the end of the story was, but it's not worth it!

Your idea is not new, and usually results in automatic rejection, according to one admissions officer who spoke on the issue. If I recall, it was a high 700 score in one section and not-so-high in the other (<600). Upon retake, the applicant had just the reverse. Her take was that such a tester was considered disingenuous. In addition, they considered it unfair bcos the tester could just nap during the math sections while your colleagues are straining their brains.

allright Thanks for answer everyone.

A good example of why superscoring makes no sense. The test scores were designed to be compared at a single sitting.

Taking 10 practice CR tests under timed conditions may be the better way to solve that problem.
