What happens if IGETC isnt received by deadline?

<p>hey guys im a transfer student..now they said the deadline for igetc is sept 2 or something..i called the office and they said they have a grace period..but she wasnt too sure what would happen if you dont get igetc brought in..she told me just as long as you bring it in sometime during the first quarter or something then it would be fine and would take care of things like not having to take a history class and a foreign language..can anyone clarify for me? my igetc still has not showed up on my degree report and it was mailed from the community college the 11th of this month. thanks.</p>

<p>i don’t think anything happens as long as you met all of the requirements.</p>

<p>i had the exact same thing happen to me. pretty sure getting your IGETC to show up on your DPR isn’t that big of a deal. They have your official transcripts so they can see that you’ve taken the classes, they’re just not IGETC certified. It’ll get there when it gets there. Just keep checking in on it periodically, i know that UCLA is understaffed and as a result things are taking longer than they should to get done.</p>
