What happens if the recommendation letter is required but I do not submit any?

First of all, I am a student who is willing to transfer.
So my question is, what are the consequences if I decide to not submit the recommendation letters and they are actually required?
Would that change the whole decision making process?

Thanks in advance.

Most schools won’t review an application until it has been completed, so I suspect your application won’t be looked at until you turn that recommendation in.

If you’re willing to transfer, then you should be willing to consent to the criteria. Otherwise, you’re wasting your time. They won’t evaluate you.

The process doesn’t change, just your potential outcome.

The same thing that happens if you don’t send your transcript, or your application, or your test scores - you application is incomplete, they will assume you are no longer interested, and move on to the next application.

Are you *willing to transfer[/] or do you want to transfer?
If you have the recommendations, why aren’t you sending them?

Explain to school why you couldn’t submit any recommendation letters; the school might considers waiving the requirement.
