What happens if UCD doesn't get my AP scores?

I will be leaving for overseas on Monday, July 23 and my AP scores still haven’t shown up in the Official AP/IB Test Scores section on MyAdmissions website. I got a letter from College Board about a week or so ago listing UCD as a recipient for a score report, so I assume it has been sent. But it still doesn’t show up on the MyAdmissions website. Several of my friends are also having this same problem. I heard that it might be because I didnt specify my Social Security Number on the order form, but it never said I was required to do this. Since it’s a weekend right now both the AP services office and the UCD undergraduate office are closed, so I just emailed both of them.

If UCD doesn’t receive my official scores, what would happen? None of the AP tests that I took affect my classes at all this year (and maybe any year). I got a 5 in US History and a 4 in Biology, but I’m not taking either of those classes. I got a 2 in AP chem so I don’t think that counts anyways. My admission wouldn’t be rescinded over something like this if those scores don’t show up would it?? I’m not sure what else I can do since I’m leaving so soon and might not have Internet or phone access for a while.

Call them before you leave!

No worries, I had the same issue as you. Waited too long to send AP results; rushed them a week before last Wednesday. Still says not received, so I called UCD admissions. The guy said it doesn't affect your admission status. However they can't verify your scores without your Social Sec. number; you have to call once they receive the official score report to verify (I think). Note the rush report isn't official, the official report is sent separately (but is automatically sent when you order rush reporting).

In short, the only issue is they can't give you credits for those classes until they receive and verify your official scores. Don't worry, be happy!

The above statement is true for incoming freshman students. For transfer students, however, the AP scores are required. Please check your paper report to make sure your name, date of birth and social security number are all listed and correct. If any the information is missing or incorrect please visit the MyAdmissions site and follow the directions found when clicking one of the links found under AP/IB exams.

My leader told me to contact the Registrar...
