I payed tuition on E-bill but i didn't make an EFT thing. does the tuition payment still go through? (i thought Electronic Fund Transfer was only for refunds)

EFT has nothing to do with your payments. EFT is for refund processing. If you won't be receiving a refund (which you shouldn't, if you let whatever financial aid you've received apply and you're paying your bill in full, not over), you've got nothing to worry about.

If you do end up with a refund, it just entails walking down to Billing instead of getting the refund wired to your bank account directly.

Yea, EFT is for convenience only. If you have a refund, they will send you an email telling you to go down to the Billing office and pick up a check.

Sure they said Aug. 15, but I think you can still set up an EFT. An EFT is a way to help students and don't think Berkeley will lock out people who try to add after 8/15. You just can't use it for 7 days after creating the account. Heck I am so lazy that I have still not set up my e-bill account :) My awards covered the fees so basically the 8/15 deadlines is basically the real deadline for those who are paying out of their pockets.
