What happens if you applied but used the wrong email?

After the application process, the site stated that "a confirmation email has been sent" but then, i found out that i accidentally didn't include a letter in my email address. Urgh. So, does anyone know how this affects me?

yea you should probably contact the admissions office as soon as possible b/c they'll probably be using that email to send you important information.

Call the admissions office right away.

Aye. The admissions office is closed during the weekends, I've called. But then it says:

You should receive a printed acknowledgment in the mail from the UC Undergraduate Application Processing Service four to five weeks after you submit your application. If you do not receive it, contact the processing service at ucinfo@ucapplication.net or call (800) 523-2048.

And a friend of mine says that the email she got just said "your confirmation has been sent"

or maybe i'm just trying to convince myself not to panic..
