What happens if you get off the waitlist?

<p>How does the school contact you if you get off the waitlist and are accepted? letter or by phone?</p>

<p>I've heard it's by phone, also because it takes forever to snail mail things to international countries, or even states beyond their own, for that matter.</p>

<p>How much time do they give you to accept? Do they include financial aid packages like they do regular admits? Any time for an "unofficial revisit"? ... or is it just a "take it or leave it."</p>

<p>I'm pretty sure it's a take it or leave it kind of deal. You get a call and have about a day to decide (I'm pretty sure that's how it is but don't quote me on it)</p>

<p>well, at my school (this was what happened with olivia567 btw, she's one of my best friends) they called her house and the shcool. she found out at school (she ran into my art class and was crying saying "i got into choate!")</p>

<p>haha ya she was.. and i was too! haha i think i cried when i found out cause i knew sehreally wanted to get in there... i was kinda sad that she was leaving.... but she came back so i was happy lol</p>

<p>hey, how firm is this april 10th deadline? can i just give verbals to one I''m accepted at and hold out a couple of days waiting for the waist list call back? ....the check is in the mail! and we all know how the us government operates these days!!!</p>

<p>Reality check: you will find out AFTER April 10th. This means that you MAY not find out until May or June. If you look at threads from last year, I believe that there were only a FEW people who find out close to April 10th.</p>
