I don’t think its a big deal for Berkeley students. I know fellow CCers have said that at UCI and UCD orientation their admissions department said they will do anything to revoke admissions, including submitting late transcripts, because they have admitted too many.

HOWEVER, for Berkeley it just says: “If we still have not received your transcript(s) by late July, you will find a “Submit Missing Admissions Documents” notice in your home page Next Steps and on your Checklist in myBerkeleyApplication.” No biggie!!

Besides, my transcript might get there late. Why? Well, I ordered my transcript when I received my acceptance letter (I chose “send after Spring grades are out”) but they failed to tell me I needed to fax my signature until a few days ago. I immediately reported this info to my admissions officer and she was very understanding of my situation (she just told me she wrote a note next to my name that I informed her that my transcript may arrive late - that’s it)!

I suggest:
- inform your admissions officer that you are waiting for a late regrade or whatever excuse you think would sound acceptable…haha…
- wait until your teacher updates the new grades THEN order the transcript!
