What happens if you send a score to a college but don't report it on CommonApp?

So I accidentally sent my ACT score to a few schools that I probably shouldn’t have (my composite is fine but my Science score went down 5 points and I’m planning on a STEM major). Anyway, if I send it but don’t self-report it, will they even know to look for it (I heard if you send scores before senior year, they just put your score report in a file somewhere until you apply)? Or will they have the score with them as soon as they get my application and think it’s a little sketchy that I didn’t report it?

Thanks for reading.

Any and all scores provided before an application is received are matched with the application when it arrives, i.e., don’t assume a score will get lost somewhere or that you can hide it by not reporting it on common app. Colleges generally consider only the higher scores to determine admission when you send mutltiple tests.

@drusba Ok, thanks!
