What happens? No Nomination? Am I done???

Update on SAT (just to give an idea on how I’ve been doing):

(This is every score that is shown on my USNA dashboard and that I’ve sent.)

SAT

600 -> 630 -> 670 Math
570 -> 620 -> 700 English
550 -> 540 -> 620 Writing

SAT II Subject

630 Math II (pretty bad)
740 (bio ecology; don’t know why I sent this one instead of physics of chem)

Midterm Grades:

Calc BC AP B
Physics AP B
English AP B
Human AP A
Chem AP B
Journalism III Honors A
Technology B
(I can get 2 B’s by my finals but pretty sure it won’t matter by the end of my senior year)

Yes, my SAT scores did arrive to USNA. It’ll be late in the game and these are just baseline scores still. I’ll just persist until I get the thin envelope.

Still no nomination…but of course the letter from Navy telling me about they VP nomination request. I’m sure alot of those who have applied for all sources have gotten this by now. It’s a long shot I’m hearing 1/1600 chances? wow.

Wouldn’t mind reapplying again and again. I’d do my SATs again maybe this fall if I don’t get any kind of offers appt., prep school, foundation etc. Altogether I have realized that getting an appointment to AFA, USMA, USNA is one of the hardest things to do. I came into this process thinking that I could easily get one maybe to the AFA or the Navy. How stupid I was… Nevertheless, I’ve learned a lot as well, and I’m confident that in the next cycle I can learn from my foolish mistakes and become level headed for admissions next year and for MOC interviews.Hopefully I will get a ROTC scholarship that I’ve applied for in the short term. :smile:

and…
best of luck to all of you who have yet to hear from your #1 academy.

denied!

You can always re-apply next year.
