<p>I've taken GE courses and some art courses at a community college. What happens if i transfer to an art school to major in advertising? Do they only count the art courses?</p>
<p>It depends on the college you transfer to. I have transferred twice and have had two different credit evaluations occur, with much different results.</p>
<p>It’s going to depend on the individual school. Probably some will, some won’t. Call/e-mail the ones you’re looking at and ask them about their policies for transfer credits. Many four-year colleges will take any courses that are similar to ones they offer with a grade of C or higher, but I don’t know if this holds true for art schools. Your best bet is to talk to the schools about the specific classes you want to transfer over.</p>
