What happens to those who don't make the pre-requisites for declaring a CS major?

<p>Since the GPA is curved to a 2.7 and the required GPA is a 3.0, over half of all people who plan to major in CS in L&S are denied a CS degree. After taking those classes, other than maybe math or cog sci, what other options are there for students? Especially those for who really want to do CS, they can't anymore since they can't get a degree anymore.</p>

<p>Back in past days when CS was capped, applied math was a common alternate major. These days, one could also minor in CS alongside any other major.</p>
