<p>Yes. Early Decision and Single Choice Early Action (SCEA) are binding. So tread carefully if you are considering those as options. I did Early Decision, but it was to the only school I considered.</p>

<p>Early Decision is binding. Single Choice Early Action is not; it just limits your ability to apply early anywhere else. But you can still wait until May 1 to decide and you can still go elsewhere.</p>
