I took my first SAT in January after taking a few practice tests from the Official SAT Study Guide and I'm planning to take my second one in either May or June. I'm hesitant in investing in any materials that aren't "official" so I wanted to hear about other people's experiences for any practice materials from the following companies:

The Princeton Review

Barrons

Kaplan

Did it improve your score? If so, which section did it help improve most?

I’ve used Kalplan and Barron’s, and admittedly I think they’re not that great. Barron’s is ok, but not as great as the official ones. Just use old versions of the tests that have already been released. Also, Kaplans reuses some practice tests. I bought both books incluiding the 12 practice tests one and Kaplan 2013 (4 or 5 practice tests), and Kaplan uses all the material in the Kaplan 2013 in the 12 practice tests one, though they are mixed with the new ones. This was very bad for me as sometimes long passages were even reused. Just use old practice tests and the official ones. I haven’t tried Princeton Review yet, I will soon. Gruber’s is very difficult, not realistic.
