So before I leave...I just want to ask all of you one question. What did you learn from your time on CC?

I definitely have improved my procrastination skills...

Why are you leaving?

So that I don't further improve my procrastination skills.

I learned that there are people out there that study way to much!!! haha

bye!

i learned how pathetic i am. oh well :)

I am both thankful and sad that I didn't find this site before senior year. I definitely have learned a lot about the college admissions process, how to boost chances with the right summer programs/ECs/courses/etc, though most of it too late for my own use but I could still relay to my sister when the time comes. Unfortunately it also ate away my time. On the plus side it's been neat to get acquainted with people.

I learned that I shouldn't be so competetive -- just because some kid on CC got a 2400 doesn't make my 2270 less of an accomplishment. I can only compete with MYSELF.

OMG, how cheesy was that? LOL. But it's true.

I learned that there is a place over the rainbow. lol :p

i learned to procrastinate more and that I'm going to be rejected from community college

According to this site, the definition of average sits above me.

That there are people out there who are as neurotic as I am. :)

i learned that addiction is harmful. ;)

I learned that you can and it is possible to bounce back and transfer to another school. :D

I learned that a website about college discussion does exist.

I learned a lot of forum speak, mainly because I don't usually frequent on forums.

NHS + President of debate team + 4.0 GPA in fluff courses + 2100 SAT = typical Ivy leage reject.

Who's Who = A scam.

3.52GPA in hard courses at a grade-deflated private school+1940SAT+ Asian American+business major=community college reject.

3.52/1940=FAILURE.

I learnt that the last testmasters word list was 100% accurate (for the Jan 2005 sat). Seriously, that list bought my verbal score from a 690 to a 760.

2000 SAT is below average on this site.

There are many nerds who stress about college admissions becuase all they got are grades.

Academic:

Too many things...RSI/TASP/SSP/Mathcamp/PROMYS/SUMAC, self-studying APs, the importance of ECs..etc.

Others:

CC is a major source of procrastination.
