I learned that I'm not the brightest fish out in the sea. There are many more bright students out there, and many good students get rejected from great colleges. The competition into getting in the top schools are intense and nerve racking!

One more thing, anything you have a passion for tends to be very competitive. For example, if you have a passion for International Relations you're going to deal with alot of competition.

I've come to discover that I'm not the only crazy-serious student out there. I've also encountered way 'worse' than me - so to an extent I feel better. I've learned cool college tips: stuff they don't teach ya on tours. CC has been cool. My procrastination skills have been sharpened as well ;)

That 99.999% of people are not born smart. They make themselves who they are.

That a 1300 and a 93 average will NOT guarantee you admission to any college.

that i suck...........:(

^^^ haha same here. I had no idea people could take so much APs (+ self-study) and still have soo much ec's before I got here.

that I'm a lot less smart than I used to think.
2200 is an ok. sat score but nothing special.
800 in everything= Troll hahaha.
love your safety
if its below 800/4.0/5/7(IB) its "reject material"

There will always be people who are better than you.

Much better. :P
