What HS juniors should do

<p>Visit USNA in Annapolis, MD
- Attend a presentation at the Admissions office in Leahy Hall (M-F at 0900, 1100, 1400, 1600).
- Browse the visitor’s center and take a walking tour ($8 for adults, $6 for students, M-F, 1000-1500).
- Walk up and down Main Street Annapolis right outside Gate 1.
- Check the Public Affairs website for announcements or upcoming events (parade, football game, glee club concert, etc.) during your visit: <a href="http://www.usna.edu/PAO/%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.usna.edu/PAO/&lt;/a>
- Have lunch in Dahlgren</p>

<p>Browse through:
- Chapters 1, 2, 3, and Appendix A from the USNA Catalog (available online at: <a href="http://www.usna.edu/Catalog/%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.usna.edu/Catalog/&lt;/a&gt;)
- The Naval Academy Candidate Book by William Smallwood
- A Civil War by John Feinstein
- A Sense of Honor by James Webb</p>

<p>Apply for Summer Seminar during your junior year by going to <a href="http://www.usna.edu/Admissions%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.usna.edu/Admissions&lt;/a> between February 1 and March 31 and following the link for Summer Seminar.</p>

<p>I was telling others that this is great info and they should check all of the other forums on this site.....seems if someone is only interested in the USNA they don't bother to check the other Academy forums that have great information also.</p>
