What I have learned about state vs. decent private schools

Penn State for the first two years is $14,412 ($13,604 tutition and $808 in fees).

After the first two years, it goes up - depending on the school, it is then $15,516 to $18,368 (Nursing is the high figure), including fees.

According to this morning’s paper, UC benchmarks its costs against U Ill, U Va, U Mich and SUNY Buffalo. The rate increases proposed put it above the average cost of those schools for the first time.
