<p>I've been on this board for awhile now and so many weird things have happened as a result! Before it was just a place I discussed colleges with people I don't know, and now it's just made the world smaller. I've reconnected with two people from a summer program and I have found out that students from my own school are on it. (so much for CC being a secret) </p>

<p>I know what you guys mean. I know who someone is who uses CC - as in she is the mom of a guy I know - and yet I hardly know this guy. It is so weird. Since I want to keep my anonymous state, or what I think is anonymous, I didn't fill in the person I know that I know her. Wow, it is weird. </p>
<p>I come from the rural boonies and NO ONE in my area goes on here. I am positive. The person whose son I know (its the mom who is on here) went to the same band camp as I and we emailed back and forth for awhile. Wow. It is so freakin weird. I am positive it is the person I am thinking of because of certain unusual, identifying details.</p>
<p>It freaked me out when I realized it. It was funny because I had read the person's posts many times. Then all of a sudden she said something that was a dinger and fit with everything else, and wow I just thought "This is crazy!"</p>
<p>i ran into a guy on campus yesterday, a friend of a friend. He was with my friend...and if it's who I think it was, we met on the old CC but have yet to meet in person. I'm about 90% positive it's the same person, however it is such an awkward question to ask "hey, did I meet you on College Confidential last year?". However I swear, if I see him again, I will ask. </p>
