What I love about CC....

CC makes optimum use of the internet's potential--many of us have questions that seem peculiar to our own situation but here we can reach out and find someone somewhere who's been there done that with their kids and will take the time to share the wisdom gleaned from their experience. Collectively we are so much smarter than any of us could possibly be alone.

I am continually uplifted by the willingness of so many people here to give freely of their time and share their hard won insights. Also reading the posts of the kids in high school and college goes a long way towards bridging the generation gap.

Thank you all --you are much appreciated-- also for me as an expatriate American, this forum provides a "home away from home." I don't want to sound too much like Mr. Rodgers, but I 'm happy to have you all in my "neighborhood."

CC makes me feel so "not alone" -- that there are others out there stumbling through the same questions, upheavals, concerns, fears, sadnesses, and joys as I am. And some of the advice (and insights) has been so, so helpful.

The one stop warehouse of info is appealing ---but I love the comedic posts by so many parents and students most!
