I want to take AP Computer Science because I am interested in pursuing CS in college, but my school doesn't provide that nor any form of computer class.

What do I do, because I know colleges will look at if you have taken a computer class before. Who should I talk to? Where should I go?

You can also self study without taking an online course. Just look up APCS and some teacher out there will have slides, lectures, and other stuff online.

I ‘took’ APCS but my teacher was so horrible… I ended up self studying it by stalking other teacher’s webpages via Google.

Now I’m a CS major at U of Washington. If you have a great interest in CS, you can do it :)

DrDre- AP exams are offered only in May. Check out the college board website to see the exact dates they will be held.
AP exams do not count as HS credit, only college credit. You would have to take an acceptable online class for credit to be granted to you from your high school.

I don’t know how I will be able to get this in on time. I have a lot of tough challenging courses as it is, and the FLVS course is about 8-9 months long. I do not think I will be able to get it done at this point.
