What if I attend a college in spring

If go to college to the next spring semester, do I have to stay in spring semester for the rest of my education years in the college? I mean -for next years- can I attend another college for a different semester? I asked it so, because it happens in my country. If you start your college here in a specific semester, you can't change it

Your question isn’t clear. You want to jump around colleges?

I think most freshmen in US colleges start in the fall. There are a couple programs I’ve heard of where freshmen had a summer seminar, then started full-time in the fall. They generally spend the next 4 years attending that college for both the fall and spring semesters.

Students who want to transfer can apply to for either the fall semester or the spring. They also continue to attend both in the spring and fall until they graduate. A student who transfers in the fall (after completing one full year) will have 3 years to complete to graduate. Those who transfer in the spring of their freshman year will have at least 3.5 years to complete. Actual time may vary depending on whether they’re changing majors, or if all their credits don’t transfer, but spring transfers are allowed to attend whatever semesters they’re able to pay for.

Are you talking about being accepted as a spring freshman after applying for fall? This does happen at a lot of schools. In that case, you have the option of taking your four years at a normal pace (and graduating after the fall semester) or taking a few more courses to graduate in 3.5 years, to graduate on a normal schedule. (Or take 4.5 years to do the same.)

It makes no difference when you begin college. All that matters for graduating is that you have fulfilled the requirements. You can take a “normal” 4 years, or less, or more time to do so.

Changing colleges after starting somewhere else in most cases would mean you would have to apply as a transfer student.
