What if I change classes after submitting TAU?

Hi guys,

So I may drop my art class and add a political science class for Spring. But in the TAU, I indicated I’d be taking Art vs Poli Sci. They’re just elective courses to get 60 units. Would it be bad to drop since the TAU deadline has passed? If not, would I simply just updated the TAU? Or what I have to call each UC school I applied to?

Contact each school via email (so there is a correspondence trail for proof) as these are usually handled on a case by case basis.

Did you list it as “planned” or “in progress” in your TAU?

Not absolute, but if the former (and you’ve already met your Arts IGETC component) the campuses likely won’t have an issue with it. If the latter, then I suggest sticking with Art to avoid any additional scrutiny on your application.
