so my first sats.
i got
700 M/760 W/700 CR: 2160
and i was hoping
to get around 2250 to 2300 this time
however
i think i totally bombed the CR reading section
math was okay
might have gotten 600
is thIS BAD?! if my SECOND SAT
is lower than the FIRST?!

Well, how many do you think you MISSED/omitted in each section?

It really depends. How can you get a 600 on Math and a 700 last time? O.o

well i answered all the fill-ins
got i say 4/5 of them correct
and for the multiple choice
i omit like 3
and probably got around 5 wrong.
and i slept at like 3 the night before the sats
hahahaha
so yeah.
should i just cancel my scores now?
so only MY FIRST sats of 2160 be shown?
=/

Cancel if you think might have gone down. That would not look good! Even if you think you did about the same, its not worth taking the chance of going down even if you might improve a little.

Hmm... Okay, so

-3 points for omit + (-6 points for wrong) + (-2 points for grid-in) = -11 points

low 600's.

I don't know if you want to cancel or not. Are you SURE you missed that many?

well. after reading
the math discussion
I AM PRETTY SURE about my mistakes
=/

oh yeah
my friend suspects that he might get a 1700 on this sat and it's his first time
should he CANCEL it?

Did you take into account the math experimental, if you had one?
I omitted 2 on those, but that doesn't hurt my current score because it's the equating section.

i didn't have 2 math in a row
i had 2 CR in a row.
i had one math fill-in sections
about my friend and his 1700
should he cancel?
its his first time

You can always cancel if you think you did that bad.

=/
i cant take it again in MAY
because of ap tests
and then in june
because of SAT 2 subject tests
i signed up for 2 different subjects

I think he should cancel. Actually, it depends on his goals...

If you are certain you got lower, cancel.

How smart is your friend? I have friends who would be jealous of his 1700, so it all depends on what he is capable of.

he has a 4.5 gpa
and 3.97 unweighted
pretty much has all ap's
and ranked like 10 out of 600
we go to same school
has lots of leadership positions
has 1000+ hours of volunteering
but he's an immigrant
therefore he sucks at CR and correct grammar?

and he wants to go to CMU, NYU. that type
plus he wants a free ride
but he's just scared of his first SAT's scores?

BUMPsdfsdfsdfsdf

=/
i cant take it again in MAY
because of ap tests

because of SAT 2 subject tests
i signed up for 2 different subjects

You can take it first thing in October. Thats when I'm going to be retaking it.

but im gonna be applying
ED/EA
then how can i?
