<p>To answer you first question, it does not effect you a lot on a general admissions basis. You can petition for “IGETC minus 1” and just finish that humanities course at the college you transfer to.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, your second question’s answer is far more negative. TAG is dependent upon finishing/completing ALL of IGETC. Without out it, you will almost surely not be admitted thru the TAG program.</p>
<p>Only the UCSD TAG requires IGETC.</p>
