what if i didnt take High school course requirements??

Hi im applying to colleges. what happens if i didnt take High school course requirements??

i got decent sats for schools i want to go but i didnt take those classes that universities require

then am i automatically out of admission eligibility?

If they require those courses, then yes.

What courses are you missing? As someone who has dealt with trying to apply to colleges without any foreign language under my belt through junior year, I can sympathize.

so… only way to go to that colleges is go to commnunity college and transfer?

Tell us what you are missing. If it is one thing then you might have a chance or if there is a good explanation. But if you didn’t do a college prep program overall you might have to pick a university with less requirements or start at a CC and get to a transfer level.

Also, are you a junior or senior? If you are junior, you could sign up for classes in what you don’t have at a community college, not so that you are a transfer student, but one semester in college counts as a year, so you could get one or two credits in what you don’t have in one year, potentially. More if you do summer session.

And colleges are different. Not all colleges require the same things.

Some schools ‘recommend’ certain coursework. Others ‘require’ it. If its not required, and you don’t have time to make it up, don’t sweat it. And if there are extenuating circumstances - like you are already bi-lingual and didn’t complete the language requirement - you will probably be fine.
