I have just submitted the candidate profile(I left out an important field -.-||), and I'm currently working on my essays and recommendations.

I trust my personal, math and English recommendations would be no problem, but the thing is, I don't know the school officials that well!

Actually, more like, they don't know me well! I don't know if they can write an effective recommendation and I'm really worried.

I only briefly know my counsellor, the vice-pricipals, and principal, none of them know me by person.

HELP!!

Don’t worry about it, the admission office recognizes that not everyone is very affiliated with their school officials. Give it to them anyway and they’ll write on what they do know: your grades, perhaps your teachers thoughts, achievements, how they don’t know you because you’ve always been a good student, ect…You can always try to submit extra recs if you feel it really was a set back.

Hi! I go to a fairly small school and even so, I don’t know my school official! When I asked my homeroom teacher about it, she said that she will be filling out that recommendation in lieu of a guidance counselor/principal.

Thanks! Glad to hear the schools are not that demanding!

I don’t want to start a new thread for this, but:
I go to a Canadian high school (grade.8~grade.12). Some schools ask for a transcript of grades for the past two years. My past year was grade 8, but my 2nd past year was grade 7! I was still in elementary school! So if I don’t have the transcript for the 2nd past year is it a set back?

Also,
For the current grades, is it ok if I use my Fall report card?

Lastly,
I got my English teacher’s recommendation last year, because she was so nice and she loved me as a student, but can I use it for my English teacher recommendation? I am currently taking English with a different teacher, so I’m worried.

(My school operates on a block order system, I wish my current English course didn’t land on this semester so I can use the recommendation I have already without worry! ugh.)
