<p>i don't think there is any way of knowing for sure, just be patient.</p>
<p>From what I gather, if you are a top student you may hear quickly, but if you are not like a super star, you may have to wait until they figure out how many kids from Tx that are top 10% are applying. Kids who are instate and not top 10% are having to wait too. Keep faith, and hopefully you will hear soon!</p>
<p>Yep, like myself, everyone else in the top 10% of my school is holding off until after Jan 1.</p>
<p>They won't let non-auto admit students know until january or february at the earliest.</p>
