I have got an admission offer to UCSD and I have submitted my SIR. I will transfer to the school in the coming fall and this is my last quarter in CC. I am taking the last math pre-req for economics but I don't feel that I will pass the course. Will this adversely affect my admission?

I'm kinda worrying about it now :(

Read your contract.

You should call them and ask them though ASAP

You might get rescinded.

Call them and talk over your options. If it is a required class then maybe they’ll let you take it over the summer, but often the UCs insist you have all required classes completed by the end of the spring term. If this is just recommended things may be marginally more hopeful.

You’re may be on thin ice if you don’t pass the class, so the one thing you don’t want to do is procrastinate and hope things take care of themselves. Being mature means stepping up and accepting responsibility. If you contact them know then you’ll know what you may be able to do to make this up if you don’t pass, and I guarantee that whatever options might exist today, there will be far fewer if you wait until they see your final transcript to find out what they will do.

Bottom line, don’t post here, pick up the phone and call UCSD. Follow up any conversations with an email (so get their name and email while on the phone).
