Hi, I'm an admitted student who's about to fail a marking period in one of my classes, Chemistry.
My school does a 4-marking period system and for the past 3 marking periods, I've maintained a B- average but
this marking period, I'm getting a F so I think I will end up with something like C-.
I'm doing relatively well in my other classes (like Bs and As)
How will this affect my admission to UNC?
Thank you

You might get rescinded but who knows.

well unc won't actually see the F, they only see your final grade in your classes, as long as it doesnt end up a d and you do keep up doing well in your other classes i think you will be ok

I think if you're doing well in all your other classes, you should be fine. You might get a warning letter. The kid whose acceptance was rescinded a few years ago didn't have just a C, I believe he had a few Ds or maybe a few Fs. There's an article about it somewhere on the net.
