What if I get kicked out of an honor society?

Hello,

I’ve been accepted into Texas A&M and plan to attend in the fall. However, with the way my class schedule is set up this semester, before and after school activities have become difficult to make, and I believe I may have missed my second Mu Alpha Theta meeting this year (Which would mean I’d get kicked out). I honestly don’t mind all that much, but will Texas A&M care? Is this something I should bring up with them, or is it not a big deal? It would seem like a dumb reason to pull an acceptance, especially when I was an auto-admit so my ECs didn’t get me in anyways, but I’d rather err on the side of caution, for obvious reasons.

Thanks!

Yeah don’t worry about it, A&M wouldn’t rescind your admission (especially since you’re an auto-admit) over Mu Alpha Theta of all clubs.

TAMU doesn’t care one way or another about Mu Alpha Theta.

As long as you didn’t lie on your application, you’re good. Meaning, if you stated you were a member and were a member when you applied - that is what is important.
