What If I missed the deadline of the Financial Aid?

It seems I had a big mistake regarding to the financial aid.

I just foud out Cornell univ requires a financial aid application and a copy of 2005 federal tax return by 01/01/2007 which was not mailed.

I didn't know that forms but only CSS & FAFSA by 2/15/07.

Wtaht should I do?
Just give up Cornell?
Anyway mail the forms right away?
Do you think I still have a chance to get the financial aid or not?

Call the finaid office at Cornell on Monday morning and ask them! They'll have the answers.

i called today. they're still accepting finaid applications. but you should probably send in your stuff asap.

Thanks serendipityx3!!
How did you get the phone number? I had tried to call but I could not find.
Anyway, I did send the stuff because I thought "nothing to lose".
Thanks again.

nbae - Thanks for posting this thread! I also didn't realize that Cornell needed separate finaid forms. I just checked their website and it looks like they extended the initial deadline.

"Regular Decision applicants: We are still accepting applications for the 2007-2008 academic year. There is no penalty for submitting a late application, but we encourage you to complete the application as soon as possible to ensure timely notification of your aid eligibility."
