What if I report my Nov SAT on the stanford app but not the associated scores?

Hi!

I got 1910 on the Nov SAT (retaking in January).
Would it seem strange or even be at my disadvantage if I only report my Nov SAT on the online app but not the associated scores?

Thanks for the help

They will see your scores on the official CB report regardless of whether you self-report them.

I know but if I report the 1910 they will prematurely put my application in the paper bin, so to say.

bump up...

bump up...

i'm not sure i understand the question. you got a 1910 on the sat you took in november and plan to take it again in january, but didnt you have to send your entire score report from CB to stanford for admission? so wouldnt they have seen it already?

yes i dont understand either...

I mean they throw my app in the paper bin before they have got the official score report given that I have reported 1910 on my app.
Is that possible?

very possible.

come on is it true? that would be f****** mad. well spent $75!!

ohhh so you told them on the actual application that you got a 1910, but since you're retaking and hope for a better score you don't want them to trash you right away. i think even if they do trash you upon seeing your sat scores, they still have to go over it again and again for final checking (in front of a committee?). and if they see that your scores are better there's a good chance they'll pull you out of the wastebasket. you should probably call them to make sure about getting january scores and if they still consider them etc etc.

but yes it's very possible that they'll cull you when they see the score. besides calling them and doing better on the jan SAT there isn't really much you can do about it now, unfortunately.
