So i wanna take AP Economics…but taking both micro and macro is kinda hard because of all the other classes that im taking.
What if i take ONLY micro and not macro?
Will colleges give me the credits and exemption ?
Yes, macro and micro correspond to different classes at most, if not all, universities. The AP exams are separate for a reason- they are two distinct courses. Its similar to AP Physics C, which has two exams (Mechanics and E&M), corresponding to two different college physics courses.
Look up each university’s procedures regarding AP credit for micro/macro.
At my school you only need one of them to graduate, so most people at my school only take micro or macro. Some people take both but a lot of people don’t have room in their schedule, so they don’t.
It depends on the college. Some will only give credit for both, although most that do give credit, will give credit for one or the other. Check the AP policies at the schools in question.
Thanks everyone
