<p>on a brighter note, I got an email last week from my medical school that I was awarded a small merit scholarship($1500), the email was from the Dean of students. Caught me completely by surprise as I did not apply for any scholarships or loans(my parents are paying for everything-God bless them). This shows that some medical schools do some interesting things-as I am already enrolled, had paid all tuitions and fees for the entire year and did not ask them for anything financially and here comes a little ‘free’ money. Go figure.</p>
