What If I'm Weak in My ECs?

They're a pretty important factor for admissions, aren't they? I'm a junior and I've participated in German Club, Art Club, Mock Trial, and my school's theatrical productions this year; I imagine I'll stick with all of them except Mock Trial.

ecs are more important at emerson than most other schools, but it really does depend on what youre applying for.

Well, I was going to enter the recording technology program, but I'm not as sure now...I would really like to apply to Emerson, but from what I've read on this board you should really know what you want to go into if you apply to the school...all I know is I want something within the communications field.

as long as you definetly want to be in communications you'll be fine at emerson, i've heard that it is relatively easy to change your major

are your GPA and SAT's allright?

My GPA is 3.8 (as of now)
SAT score was 1305, but I'm planning on taking it again.

Do I have a shot at getting in?

Um...someone? Please?

Can just tell you about my dd. She had a 3.5 GPA (mostly honors classes), 1380 SAT, 24 ACT. EC's include captain of the varsity basketball team, FBLA, Cornerstone (Community service), Recycling club, 2 part time jobs. SHe was accepted EA. Good luck to you!

i think you definately have a shot. my gpa was a crappy 3.34... SAT 2030 ACT 28. lots of EC stuff..... accepted RD.

i won't be attending...but i hope this helped

It has, thank you!
