I am afraid that I will not be able to get my immunization form into the office, at latest, until August 2nd, this coming Friday. I know that the forms are due on July 30th.

Does anybody know if there will be any consequences to the form being a few days late? I have read that they withhold your room key on move-in day if you don't get the meningitis shot, but I will get all my shots tomorrow, no doubt. Will anything happen?

I don't know what will happen, but if you are getting your shots tomorrow, FAX IT IN TO THE HEALTH OFFICE TOMORROW. You probably received an email about it, they had the fax number with the email

No fax?! That's absolute bullcrap. I faxed in my immunization form last week.

In terms of consequences, I don't know what they will do. They state they won't give you your keys or room assignment UNTIL they receive the form -- "until" being the key word. I believe that is the only consequence. Just make sure that they have your forms before you move in at the end of August or else you'll be homeless for a while :(

Besides, they have yet to send out housing info. First years have not received their housing info. despite Rutgers stating that students would be aware by mid-July.

By the way, in an e-mail today from Rutgers Health, they told me I could just fax it, so I will do that tomorrow, deadline day, and everything should be fine.

i havnt submitted mine yet :S....is it gonna b a big problem? i am living on campus :S...im going to nj on the 12th so i can give it to them this week...

I have no idea on the fax number. Email them and ask- there's an email address on the housing website (I would say call because it's faster, but if you're international that might be a big bill).

I doubt much will happen to you for turning it in late. As long as it's there when you go to pick up your key.
