Don't worry about not having a class rank, it's not going to slow down your application. Our son did not have a class rank being a member of the first graduating class in a new school, which had a total of six students that year. Didn't stop him from being accepted into an Academy. Admissions will look at the other factors on your application. Really, not a big deal at all.

Just to clarify so that there is no confusion for other candidates:

If the school does have rankings available that information must be supplied.

USMA admissions will still consider an admission if the high school's stated policy is to not rank. In many ways, if the applicant did well with GPA or SAT scores - it could be in the favor of the applicant to not have a high school ranking. If the applicant is in a high school which does not rank - it could then be a mistake ot insist on a decile ranking as an extraordinary measure. Usually it is best to insist the high school enforce their stated policy and not ask for an estimate from the guidance office.
