What if my SAT scores/transcripts are late?!

I applied to Eastern Washington U, Portland State, UW-Seattle, and UOregon. I sent my Portland State scores first because their app was due earliest, so they received them. But, I was just able to send my scores the other day because of money, and I'm worried the schools won't have them on time... UW said to send them by the 30th of this month, but obviously they won't be there by then. Then, UOregon's application deadline is the 15th, so I'm worried my scores won't get there before then either. EWU is rolling, so that's not a big deal.

Also, apparently my school never sent my transcripts like I was told, so I have to talk to them when I get back to school on the 3rd. Portland State's priority deadline was December 1st, so does that mean I won't be eligible for the extra aid even though my app was in on time? And what about UW? Their deadline for their app was the 1st of December, and now they won't have my scores until sometime next month....

I'm just worried this will ruin my chances :|

Email or call the admissions office at each school and explain the problem re scores and transcripts. Being a little late (a week or two) isn’t usually an issue if you got your part of the application in on time. However, if the school has explicit deadlines for receiving the other parts of the application (to qualify for scholarships or whatever), that may be an issue.

Ideally, if your school has erred in failing to send out the transcripts on time, they will get right on it and also let the schools know that the delay wasn’t your fault. Speak to your guidance counselor. Get your parents involved on this one if the school isn’t being responsive. (If the problem is that you failed to request the transcripts by the stated deadlines for your school, that is a different matter.)
