what if one of my essays is a LOT more than 500 words?

<p>Don't worry, I think most of us are in teh same boat. One of mine is nearly 50% over also.</p>

<p>either risk it, or go get your teacher to edit it for u...mine got my essay down from 750 to 525...not bad...</p>

<p>I am sorry to tell yuo, but admission officers say 500 for a reason. "About 500 words" translates to 450-550 words, not nearly 1000... I know for sure they'll be pretty anal about this.</p>
