What if recs and transcript, etc. show up before app is submitted?

this is somewhat urgent. my thread title might be a little exaggerated. :) (now that i've gotten your attention)

i already gave out my counselor recs, teacher recs, and transcript requests for all the colleges i'm applying to. however, i did not pay for some of the college application fees for the colleges yet, nor have i submitted all of them yet. if my recs and transcripts get to the college before i pay/submit the application, will the office of admissions at each respective school still hold on to them, or discard them because i haven't paid/submitted yet (b/c i wouldn't be on their records)?

I think that as long as the recs have your name and SSN on them, they'll get put in a folder that is sitting there waiting for the rest of your application paperwork to come in. I would think this could happen often.

i agree. ///

yup, what the last two said.

but what if i dont have my ssn on it?

They'll make a folder for you, don't worry about it.

Call them up if/when they show up, and try to reach an actual person if you're worried. Worst case if you call, they already made a folder for you. On the other hand, if they haven't/don't make a folder, and you don't call...but that shouldn't happen. Shouldn't.
