What if you don't take the hardest courses?

Like, what if you're applying to top 30 schools and, rather than take the maximum 5 classes you're allowed (at least in my school), you go for 4?

I have

AP Literature
AP Calculus AB (hardest math course offered.)
AP Biology
AP Psychology
AP Music Theory
Wind Ensemble (NOT dropping this, ever.)
Gym (mandatory in school)

This is how it is at this moment. School hasn't started yet, but when it does I can make my changes. I'm thinking of dropping AP Literature because a) notoriously harder than in most schools (seemingly) b) going into science major so it wouldn't matter as much. Look, I know Calc and Bio is hard in my school and I'm ready for that, but LITERATURE? I'm good at English but if it's as BS a class I hear, then I'm not messing with that. So then I'm thinking my schedule would then be like this

Honors Literature 4
AP Calculus AB
AP Biology
AP Psychology
AP Music Theory
Wind Ensemble
Gym

I'm considering changing Music Theory to AP Micro or AP World but I'm reluctant because a) I don't even know if I have room in my schedule to do so and b) I like music so it'd kill me to drop it.

Is this still okay? I know kids who got in Princeton and Penn with 3 APs each in senior year, but they were valedictorians and I'm not...

And, any suggestions? I can list all possible APs if needed.

Okay, I think I know the answer to this now, but to make sure, bump.
