<p>If you get in ED but the financial aid isn't sufficient, what happens? Do you find out your aid award in time to apply RD somewhere else (if they allow that)? I really hope that doesn't happen to me, but it seems likely.</p>
<p>I had the same worry. I got accepted ED2 to vassar but didn't withdraw my UC apps until I knew for sure what my financial aid award was and whether it was enough. It was great. You shouldn't worry; I've only heard great stories from people about their aid packages. And if all else fails, they can't make you go there if you can't pay for it. So just apply to some other schools RD to have some backup plans.</p>
<p>Thanks, heatherly. Does the average aid package mostly consist of loans? It sounds like a lot of people, like you, have gotten great packages, but my dad still has this anti-loan mentality that hopefully wouldn't be a huge problem. I don't want to end up in debt either, but I want to go to a school I really like more.</p>
