<p>I was wondering if apps sent in before the ED deadline are automatically considered ED or do you have to specify? I might be sending half of my apps in before the ED deadline but I want them to be RD because only 1 is my top choice school. Do I have to wait until after NOV 15th to send them in?</p>
<p>For common applications you indicate whether you are applying ED or RD so it doesn’t matter when you apply as long as you indicate.</p>
<p>Regardless of whether you use the common app or the college’s own app form, you can apply ED only by specifically choosing that option in the app; otherwise your app is a regular admission app and you can submit it now to any college.</p>
