hey! so I was just wondering... what if you don't get accepted to anywhere?

would you carry on at your current school? or apply late for another boarding school that you haven't applied to previously???

if i didn't get accepted anywhere, there may be a good chance that I'd apply to a private day school... and hope I get accepted there... but I don't think I'd apply to any other boarding schools... anyone thinking of doing that?

I did apply to a school where I'm really confident I'll have no problem getting in (reasons and b/c's kept secret for confidential purposes), the school is "tier 2" and I'd be really grateful if I'd be able to spend my high school life there.

I'm pretty sure most applicants do apply to at least one school where they feel they should have no problems getting in.

glitters, which grade are you applying for? If it's 10th grade or below you can wait until next year and reapply. That's what I did. And I heard that some people didn't get into A/E until they reapplied the following year. I hope, however, that you will get the offer from at least one school on the 10th. :) Best of luck to you!

You can reapply as a 9th grader, for 9th grade. I chose not to do that, but still. :)
My options are going to be staying at my current school for another year, then doing some more research. I'll either reapply as a 10th grade (unlikely) or look more into that early college at Simon's Rock. I like that idea. :D

Hi glitters! No i'm reapplying this year, which means I'm just as anxious about March 10th as you are. :) Let's all pray for the best that this bad thing won't happen...

If I got rejected everywhere, I would carry on in school, maintaining my grades and EC's. I would reapply the following year as a repeat freshman, which wouldn't be too bad because I am very young for an 8th grader. I nearly missed the cut.

If I get rejected everwhere, I've been considering applying to Nawa's International Academy. I love the concept, just wish the school was aimed a bit more at academics. I don't think my parents would let me apply to yet another school though.
