I know that Cornell has opted out of score choice, but i still have the option of sending the scores i want. I was wondering if i submit the sat score that i prefer, how would Cornell know?

They won’t know. But people who have that kind of thought don’t belong at Cornell.

Just send all of them. They only use your highest score for consideration, so why be dishonest?

They can find out if they ask your school (which has a record of all your scores). Colleges can and and will do that sometimes Don’t risk it. Just be honest.

I think they will know someway somehow. And that’s an automatic rejection I’m pretty sure.

I think for SUBJECT tests, it’s not AS a big deal (still a big deal) as long as you meet the requirements. The 7 colleges have their own requirements, and if you meet them the adcoms most likely won’t care. Because honestly…would the Engineering school really care if you didn’t report a SAT II Lit mark?

SAT I is a different story.

Check with the school. My friends applying to other schools told me that some schools only opted out of SAT I for score choice. E-mail the Cornell College for more information. That’s the safest way, since all of us CCers are just speculating.
