<p>Hey guys, my question is about the writing score and its impact on college admissions. </p>

<p>English-30
Math- 29
Reading-33
Science-28
Writing-12</p>
<p>I know my scores are not fantastic but I am pretty pleased with the writing. I guess I am asking, will the 12 on writing make my overall testing look better? If so, to what extent?</p>
<p>The writing does not affect your composite, and therefor does not really change much in admissions. What looks good is a 12 on the SAT I essay not ACT since ACT is generally used instead of SAT II.</p>
<p>Honestly it doesn’t make a huge difference, but you should be proud of the accomplishment nonetheless. You should use your writing skills to write some great essays for admission.</p>
