Good at Columbia (ED), Georgetown, UMaryland, and UVA.

At Princeton & Penn your chances are okay.

Thank you! Anyone else?

Are there any other schools you would suggest?

Is anyone else applying early decision to Columbia?

I'm desperate! Be as brutal as you want.

Look at Barnard, Mt. Holyoke, Bryn Mawr, Grinnell, Macalester, Wesleyan, Reed, Occidental, URochester, Johns Hopkins, Vandy, Emory, Case Western, and Carnagie Mellon.

Since your interest in Columbia shows you are not afraid of core programs, you could consider UChicago.

Thank you! I was looking at Carnegie Mellon and UChicago, but the latter may be too far away for my parents' liking. Chances, anyone else? Especially Columbia, because I love it.
