what indicates that a rec is sent in?

<p>Hey guys, </p>

<p>I just noticed that on my schools forms, only one of the recommendations is listed as "
submitted" whereas the other two are "started on ____". Are the ones that are "started on" incomplete?I'm really deperate because of the looming Dec 1st deadline.</p>

<p>PS. Also, can anyone tell me if I can delete my common app essay later and re-upload another one for another college?</p>

<p>Yeah, started on ones are incomplete, however they may be finished because the system takes a while to update, confirm with your teachers. You may not delete your common app essay, but you are able to make a 2nd version of your common app in order to upload a new essay, see common app FAQ on their website or google it.</p>
