Hello everyone! I am new to College Confidential and this seems like a realy awsome site I have learned a lot already =). But, I was wondering what information is on your High School Transcripts when applying for College
(I mean ALL of it). It's just your grades you made right? Also, is it true they dont show your past behavior on there like suspensions, exspellsions and things? Because my brother who is also interested in college has many many suspensions and has been expelled twice from different schools. Was that info on you guy's transcripts?

Thank You
Cant wait to be apart of CC!! :)

its been 4 hours... can someone please help me?

These boards don't have huge traffic all the time so you'll need to be a bit patient in waiting for replies. Just fyi

I'm pretty sure the expulsions will show up there, however I doubt that any other disciplinary information will. In fact I'd be surprised if the expulsions don't, but I'm pretty sure you can always ask for the transcripts to be sent to your house before you apply, so you can see what they say then.

Post this in the College Admission forum. And if explusions aren't on the transcript you can sure bet the guidance counselor rec will mention it.

You can ask for a copy of your high school transcript. Most guidance departments will give you an unofficial copy. As for what is on it besides grades, it depends on the school. We include attendance on ours -- and that hurts some kids because, while they are good students, we'd like to see them a little more often in our classrooms.

Every school's transcript is different--you should ask for a copy of your school's

I don't exactly what's on your transcript, but I'm guessing it will show maybe.......your grades, maybe even your name, and maybe even your gender!!! but just maybe

firehippo99, you are hilarious.

i agree
the firehippo is one hot hippo!

Actually, mine shows:
GPA: weighted, unweighted, summed
Rank: () out of 75 (We don't rank, so it just says () )
Courses completed for each year, honors denoted by (H) at end and final grade, weighted GPA, and unweighted GPA out of possible weighted and unweighted GPA in that class.
Courses currently enrolled in
Grading scale
Remaining courses for graduation as set forth by the Board of Governor's of UNC
End-of-course and VOCAT tests taken, exam grade (A-F), scale score, percent correct, and percentile if not taken during a pilot year

Any discipline issues, and there's a place for ECs/Awards but the school never enters that and we aren't allowed to do anything with our transcripts.

Student ID, race, gender, legal parents and residence, and parents occupation and possibly education

Pretty much, by the time you finish High School in NC your transcript is 3-4 pages long.

on mine it has the typical name, gender, student id ect. then theres my class rank and then all my class grades since 8th grade.

I actually dont think your funny at all... I personally think your wack firehippo99.... :
